Today we have a short little blog for you about the importance of photo makeup. After reading this blog, you’ll know more about why having your makeup done before your Senior or Teen pictures is so important. So let’s get into the three big reasons!
You want your makeup to be visible
The day of your shoot will eventually end, but your photos will last forever. Professional photo makeup is heavier than your day-to-day, so it’s really visible in your photos. Some of your headshots may be close ups or headshots, and your everyday makeup would be visible here, but I want to make sure you can really see the exact look you’re going for even in those far-away shots.
It’s like pre-editing
Acne and skin problems. We all have them. We all hate them. We don’t want them in our photos. Since professional makeup is heavier than your day-to-day look, a lot of those pimples, red spots, dark spots, under-eye bags, etc will already be covered. Your skin will already look smooth and flawless before any editing is even done on your photos!
You deserve it
These photoshoots are a big deal. It’s your day to shine, and you deserve a little pampering! You shouldnt have to do your own makeup and hair before your session. You just have to sit back, relax, and watch the magic happen.
