As the 2022-2023 school year comes to a close, the 2023 seniors are done! If you graduated this past weekend, congratulations! If your junior year is coming to a close, now is the time to start thinking about your senior pictures. Summer is the perfect time to get your pictures taken, even though it seems early. Let’s go through a few reasons why getting your senior pictures taken this summer is in your best interest!
Warm weather
The weather during the summer is so nice! You will be able to choose any outfits you want without worrying about wearing layers or being cold. You will also be able to take photos by the water without getting too cold! You may even want to get in the water at the end of your shoot for some fun water photos! The sun is also very cooperative most days, making for the perfect opportunity for lots of natural light.
Yearbook deadlines
At most schools around Billings, yearbook photos are due early in the school year. It takes time to book a photoshoot, hold the photo shoot, choose your yearbook photo, and wait for it to be edited and sent back to you. If you start looking for photographers when you start school, we may already be booked out from other people who had the same idea! Getting your pictures taken in the summer allows enough time for the necessary steps required to turn in a professional yearbook photo!
You can create a truly custom experience
You do a lot of growing and changing each year, but especially throughout your senior year! Having multiple sessions, such as a summer session and a winter or spring session, can show your growth throughout the year and give you a variety of contrasting photos!
