Now that you’ve chosen a photographer and a date, it’s time to choose outfits! Your style and your photographer’s style will help your choices, but the season you chose will as well! Different seasons have different weather and scenery that you’ll want to keep in mind.
For a summer session, you can choose jeans, short sleeves, and sandals, a flowy dress, or anything in between! If you want to go to the water, I suggest a dress. If you’re thinking more downtown vibes, I suggest the jeans and blouse.
Fall is always a good time for jeans and a button-down! Layers are also great for fall. A black or white shirt with a flannel, scarf, and cute hat is always an option! Rather than sandals, a good pair of boots is a nice way to stay warm and good good doing it.
Winter shoots are less common, but they’re so fun! The snow on the ground makes it a little colder, but it also makes it much brighter! Cute jackets are great for winter shoots. A matching hat is also nice, and it’s a great time to pull out your leggings so you’re a little more comfortable in all those layers! If you have an outfit you really want to show off with the snow, we can always take breaks every few minutes to put your jacket on in between takes.
Spring fashion is similar to summer: you can make it whatever you want! By the time flowers are blooming, it’s starting to get warm again. You can keep long sleeves to combat the wind, or pull out your short sleeves again! Choosing colors that will match some of the flowers will make you really pop as well.
