Now that you’ve chosen a photographer, you’ll want to choose a date! When you’re picking out a date, you really want to pay attention to the seasons for a few reasons. The colors, vibes, weather, and plants that you want to have in your photos will all be affected by the season you choose.

Spring

Spring is full of sunshine without being too hot. The trees are starting to turn green again, and there are lots of flowers blooming! If you like colorful backgrounds, flowers, warm weather, and spring weather, spring is the right season for you.

Summer

Summer is much warmer than spring, and the flowers and plants are fully bloomed! It is generally warm enough to go to the river for one of your locations as well, or for If you love summer fashion, hot summer weather, and water, a summer session is right for you!

Fall

By the time fall starts, the leaves are starting to turn and the temperature is cooling down again. Fall fashion is so fun, and there are lots of browns, oranges, and reds! If you like layers, pumpkins or other fall plants, and cooler weather, fall is the perfect time to schedule your session.

Winter

Winter is the coldest month requiring the most layers. Winter also has the smallest amount of natural vegetation. If you love the snow, lots of layers, and really highlighting buildings in the background rather than plants, winter is a great time for your session!
