Our last senior feature for 2022 is all about Asher! Asher’s session was so fun to plan and so fun to do! I instantly clicked with them when they asked me to do a Halloween themed session, and we continued to click with each new idea and plan. It was so nice to have a client that already knew the kind of shoot they wanted before the official planning began. When clients already have an idea of what they’re wanting done, the planning process can be much more in-depth and fun! Every time Asher sent me an outfit idea I would literally squeal with excitement!
Asher started out their shoot with me in an everyday fall outfit. They wore an orange sweater with plaid pants. We had a lot of fun at our first location with our spooky ideas! We brought along a jack-o-lantern and smoke bombs along with a few other Halloween props. Asher’s spider earrings were the icing on top of this outfit!
Next, we headed to the Moss Mansion. Asher changed into an outfit very reminiscent of the Greatest Showman. They wore black boots and pants and a black patterned top with big buttons. They accessorized with a unique hat, a red coat, and jewelry to match. This outfit really matched the vibe of the mansion and all the flowers around the property!
For our third location, our shoot got even more unique than before! We headed to a local cemetery and Asher changed into a witchy dress with tights and a witch’s hat. They chose a pair of earrings that perfectly matched the tights, and the rest of the accessories tied into each other as well. Asher had a purple crystal necklace and a purple bouquet that matched the color and the witchy vibes. Asher also brought along crystals and tarot cards! This portion of the shoot was so much fun for both of us, and I really think Asher’s personality and style came out the most here!
Before we started our shoot, I told Asher a story about a photographer who tried to shoot in a cemetery but their camera started glitching as soon as they walked onto the property. When we arrived, the same thing happened to my camera and the wind started howling. Luckily, I was able to get my camera to work!
